The Rosey add-in adds a Rosey tab to the Word ribbon, so you can review documents without leaving Word. You can install Rosey directly from inside Word in just a few steps.
Supported versions
Word on the web
Word on Windows (Microsoft 365 subscription)
Word on Mac (Microsoft 365 subscription)
A Microsoft 365 commercial subscription (Business, Enterprise, or Education) is required.
Install Rosey from inside Word
Open Microsoft Word.
Click the Home tab in the ribbon.
Click Add-ins (or Get Add-ins, depending on your Word version).
In the Office Add-ins dialog, search for Rosey.
Find the Rosey add-in in the results and click Add.
Accept the permissions prompt.
The Rosey tab will appear in the ribbon.
If you'd rather install Rosey from the Microsoft Marketplace, navigate to the Rosey listing on Microsoft AppSource.
After installation
Click the Rosey tab in the ribbon, then Open Rosey. The first time you open the side panel, you'll be prompted to connect to your Rosey account. See: Connecting Word to your Rosey account.
Troubleshooting
No Rosey tab in the ribbon after install. Restart Word. Add-ins sometimes need a restart to register.
"Your administrator has not allowed this add-in." Your organization restricts individual add-in installs. Contact your IT administrator to request Rosey be deployed.
The add-in won't install. Confirm you're signed in to Word with a Microsoft 365 commercial account (Business, Enterprise, or Education). Personal or home Microsoft 365 plans may not support add-ins.
No "Get Add-ins" or "Add-ins" button on the Home tab. Your Word version may be too old, or your administrator may have hidden the Office Store. Update Word to the latest Microsoft 365 version, or contact your IT administrator.
