Disconnecting, switching projects, and signing out

Disconnect a document from a project

If you want to move your document to a different project — or remove it from the project entirely — open the project menu (three-dot icon next to your document name) and click Disconnect from Project. The document stays in Word and the project stays in your Rosey workspace; they're just no longer linked.

After disconnecting, the Get Started screen will appear and you can attach the document to a different project (or create a new one).

Switch to a different project

There's no "switch project" button as such. To work on a different project from the same document, disconnect from the current project and then attach to the new one.

Sign out of Rosey in Word

To sign out completely:

  1. Open the project menu (three-dot icon).

  2. Click Logout.

Word will return to the Rosey welcome screen. You'll need to connect again with a fresh pairing code the next time you use the add-in.
