When you ask your assistant to fact-check a document with Rosey, it calls Rosey's fact_check tool — passing along your document and the supporting material it should be checked against. Rosey can only verify claims against material it actually receives, so the sources you provide in the conversation matter.
What Rosey does
Extracts the quantitative claims from your document — numbers, figures, dates, and factual statements.
Checks each claim against your supporting material.
Returns a result for every claim, with the unsupported and contradicted ones called out so you know where to look.
The three claim statuses
Supported — the claim matches the supporting material.
Unsupported — the claim isn't found in the supporting material.
Contradicted — the claim conflicts with the supporting material.
Why sources matter
Rosey checks your document against the sources it's given. Provide the documents you want treated as authoritative — financial statements, transcripts, model outputs, source PDFs. Without supporting material, Rosey has nothing to verify against.
