Connect Rosey to the Claude Desktop app by installing the Rosey bundle and authenticating with an API key.
Required: allow Rosey's upload domain
Claude's sandbox blocks uploads by default, so allowlist Rosey's upload domain before fact-checks will work. In Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Capabilities → Allow network egress and add this domain: rosey-files.s3.amazonaws.com.
Steps
Create a Rosey API key and copy it. See: Creating and managing API keys.
Download the bundle file from your Rosey dashboard.
Open the downloaded file — Claude Desktop opens a window to install Rosey.
Paste your API key into the form, then click Install.
Quit and reopen Claude Desktop. Rosey now shows up in your tools.
Things to know
The bundle installs Rosey as a local extension in Claude Desktop.
Your API key authenticates the connection — keep it private.
Add optional skills to do more in Claude — prep scattered sources or format your results. See: Rosey skills for Claude.
