Getting started with Rosey for Microsoft Word

Written by Erik Ross

Rosey works directly inside Microsoft Word. Once the add-in is installed and you've connected your Rosey account, you can review any document without leaving Word.

A typical session looks like this:

  1. Open the document you want to review and click the Rosey tab in the Word ribbon, then Open Rosey.

  2. Connect Word to your Rosey account (a one-time setup).

  3. Add the document to a Rosey project — either a new project you create from the add-in or an existing project from your Rosey workspace.

  4. Upload to your Rosey project the supporting material Rosey should check the document against (financials, transcripts, source PDFs, brand guidelines, etc.).

  5. Choose which reviewers should evaluate the document.

  6. Click Run Rosey. Rosey reads the document, verifies factual claims against the supporting material, and simulates expert reviewers like a CFO, Operating Partner, or Industry Analyst.

  7. Work through the findings in the side panel. Accept fixes as tracked changes, dismiss findings that don't apply, and use Go to document to see the exact source backing each claim.

You can run Rosey as many times as you'd like as you revise — each run produces a fresh set of findings against the latest version of the document.
